"Ship and Sniff" Program
Clean Ocean Action has partnered with Environmental Canine Services to trace potential sources of human pollution with the use of canines. Water samples are sent to Maine, where the dogs are located, to be smelled and analyzed.

Water sampling took place at 24 sites in Toms River, Beachwood, Pine Beach, Ocean Gate, and Island Heights.
