Our Mission

Barnegat Bay and Toms River, a body of water within the Barnegat Bay Watershed, have remained significant cultural, historical, and natural resources. The Marine Academy of Technology and Environmental Science (MATES) has teamed up with Clean Ocean Action, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), and Save Barnegat Bay (SBB) to conduct a three-year study on the water quality of Barnegat Bay, along with help from the Environmental Canine Services (ECS)!
